Last month I met with the Hall family at Pinnacle Mountain State Park in Little Rock! Shannon gifted Kirk’s parents this session and I was excited to get to shoot these family portraits for them! I’ve known Shannon and Kirk since our college days at Arkansas Tech University and have been shooting for them since sweet Brooks was born! I’m pretty sure he’s the cutest kid ever!! It was so nice to meet Kirk’s parents and I’m so glad I got to see Brooks again! He’s growing WAY too fast!!!! I always love my sessions with these guys, they are the best!!
A few years ago I met Hannah and Cody when she hired me as their wedding photographer! We worked together for Engagement photos, Bridal Portraits and Wedding photos and then I captured Miss Aurdry’s entire first year package so through the years I’ve gotten to know this sweet couple pretty well and they are just the best! I met all of Cody’s family at their wedding but it was so nice to get to meet and work with them all again and I enjoyed it so much!! The light was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for better weather!! Thank Again to the Smith family for letting me take your family portraits and I can’t wait to see precious Audrey again next week for her FIRST birthday photos!!! Eeek!!
Kayla, Phillip, Pacer, and Piper are some of my favorites!! They came to see me a couple years ago when Piper was born and booked the First Year Package! It’s be super fun watching Pacer and Piper grow and getting to know their parents!! They will be adding a little sister next spring and I can’t wait to meet her when they come for her Newborn session! Pacer is probably the cutest thing I’ve ever seen with a huge personality and Piper is a living baby doll, so I’m sure their new sister will be just a sweet and cute! It’s always so much fun working with the Judds!!
A little over a year ago I had the honor of shooting newborn photos for Easton and this year his little brother Wyatt joined the Webb family and I was so excited to get to see them again!!! How adorable are these boys!? Working with this family all year has been so fun!! I can’t wait for another year to watch these kiddos grow!!
Keli Thomason and Matt Hall said “I do” in a precious little one room church outside of Arkadelphia on a foggy morning in September! They had THE most beautiful reception in her parents back yard and it was the perfect setting for a brunch wedding! I just loved every thing about this wedding and coordinator Emily Wilson did a fabulous job bringing all of Keli’s visions together! Keli and Matt were a dream to work with and I’m so excited for them both!! Dress: Low’s Bridal Caterer: Little Bites Florist: Petal Chik Designs Cake: Elle B Sweet Shoppe Coordinator: Emily Wilson Second Photographer: Krysta Rupp
I’ve been taking photos of this precious family since Jonathan was in the womb!!! It’s been so exciting to watch these kiddos grow through the lens! Big brother J and Big sister Harley welcomed sweet baby Haisley to their crew last month and she is a doll!!
Wendy and Max own Nashville Collision Center in town and they did a great job making my car look shiny and new again!! Check them out for all your auto body needs!!
I had the best time shooting the Petty family in North Little Rock in the Argenta Disctrict! Mandy is the extremely talented photographer behind LatteDa! Imagery in Central Arkansas and it was such an honor for her to ask me to take photos for her sweet family!! Her girls are super photogenic, and such a joy to be around!
P.S. If you haven’t checked out the Argenta Art District in North Little Rock, you should! It’s such an eclectic neighborhood with tons of good food, art galleries, and lots of cool festivals!
Jamie Nance & Dylan Knox tied the knot on September 22, in the beautiful Barn at Big Hill Oak Ranch in Magnolia, Arkansas. The weather may not have cooperated to have the outdoor ceremony that Jamie had planned, but the Indoor ceremony was absolutely perfect! The Knox and Nance families were so wonderful to work with and I’m so very glad I was able to be a part of such a perfect day!!
The Venue was at The Barn at Big Hill Oaks Ranch in Magnolia, Arkansas
Jamie’s Dress was from David’s Bridal
The Picket Fence in Hope, Arkansas provided the flowers and cake
Amigo Juans in Hope, Arkansas catered the recpetion
Donna Porter decorated the reception and Amanda Lawrence Coordinated
Carrie Tollett was the hair stylist and Courtney Nance was the makeup artist.
Amanda is due any day now and I wanted to share these precious photos from The Lawrence's Maternity Session! I graduated high school with Heath and was super thrilled when Amanda asked me to take their Maternity photos and booked a First Year Session with Baby Parker and his big sister, Reese.
Reese was the cutest thing I've ever seen!! She was a natural in front of the camera, she showed me her ballet moves all day too!
We added on a one hour Maternity Session to the Newborn First year Package so we visited a couple of different locations in Nashville, Arkansas on our farm and changed outfits a few times for different options!
We made our last stop at the perfect time for sunset and finished up our session! Such a beautiful family and I can't wait to meet their new addition next week!
A few weeks ago I made the journey up to Conway to meet little miss Tucker for her In Home Newborn Session. This was a lifestyle session using their house as our backdrop, along with an in-home studio set up so I brought my posing equipment and lots of baskets and wraps and set up shop in the Nursery! Josh and Tessa had created the PERFECT nursery! Tranquil, soft, relaxing...I mean, I kind of wanted to live there too!
Such a beautiful space created by her Talented Mom and Dad for such a beautiful little doll! Kenneth, her Big brother was so proud and helpful!! He even made sure I had an Airhead Sour Strip Candy before I left, which was DELICIOUS!
Tucker's daddy was in the US Marine Corps so we incorporated his dog tags into some of our photos!
I had such a great time with this precious family! So happy to have been able to take photos for The Reynolds!
These Precious kiddos came to visit Nashville a few weeks ago for Halle's 6 month photo session and I just loved every minute of visiting with their sweet Mom and Dad!! Halle is doing the first year session which includes a mini photo session every 3 months! There's also a package for every 6 months too!
Halle was all smiles the entire session and Collins really enjoyed throwing the peace sign (He's probably the coolest 4 year old I know!)
I took photos for Collins for his entire first year and it's so fun to be able to shoot for his little sister now! I just love Family Photo Sessions and especially Siblings!! Playing with kids and making them smile is my favorite thing about be a Family Photographer!!
Can't wait to see Miss Halle and her big brother, Collins in a few weeks for her Nine Month session!
A few months ago I got a Facebook message from Trey asking if I was interested in shooting a surprise engagement for his girlfriend, Bailey at his family's lake house in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I was super excited to be asked to be a part of this because been I've taking Bailey's photos for years! I immediately said yes!
Trey told what he had in mind for the engagement and after scoping out the location, I had a pretty good idea of what the plan was! He had put a lot of thought and planning into this and had invited all of their friends and family to come watch from the balcony! Both of their sisters had set up a candle lit, decorated table with their photos, last name, and rose pedals! After shuttling everyone in from another location so Bailey wouldn't be tipped off at all the cars around, we hid and waited!
When Bailey opened the door, she couldn't stop smiling and laughing and neither could any of us watching! I don't think there was a dry eye on the lake!
Trey had to pull her over closer to the table so she could see who all was waiting above for him to pop the question! I don't think I've ever seen someone so surprised!! (Or if she knew, she was really good at hiding it!)
Trey got down on one knee and in front of all their friends and family, Bailey said yes!
One of their friends thought it would be funny to dress as a priest and make everyone, including the newly engaged couple, think that they were going to get married on the spot. I'm not going to lie, even I was like... "wait no one told me about this!?" Once we all realized the joke, everyone died of laughter. I'm still laughing about it to be honest!
I'm so very happy for Bailey and Trey! They have wonderful family and friends and we had the best time celebrating their engagement! I know their wedding will be absolutely perfect!
